Linhares is the name of a municipality in the state of Espírito Santo, Brazil, north of the state capital, Vitória. It is the largest municipality by area in the state, at 9,501.6 km², and has a population of 176,688 people (2020). The municipality is named in honor of D. 2013 Campeonato Brasileiro Série D
In 2013, the Campeonato Brasileiro Série D, the fourth division of the Brazilian League, will be contested for the fifth time in history. It will be contested by 40 clubs, four of which will eventually qualify to the Campeonato Brasileiro Série C to be contested in 2014. Competition format The 40 teams are divided in eight groups of 5, playing within them in a double round-robin format. The two best ranked in each group at the end of 10 rounds will qualify to the Second Stage, which will be played in home-and-away system. Winners advance to Third Stage. The quarterfinal winners will be promoted to the Série C 2014. As there is no Série E, or fifth division, technically there will be no relegation. The 2018 Campeonato Brasileiro Série A (officially the Brasileirão Assaí 2018 for sponsorship reasons) was the 62nd season of the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A, the top level of professional football in Brazil, and the 15th edition in a double round-robin since its establishment in 2003.
