Radoslav Ďuriš (born 10 August 1974 in Ilava) is a Slovakia, Slovak wheelchair curling, wheelchair curler. He participated at the Wheelchair curling at the 2014 Winter Paralympics, 2014, Wheelchair curling at the 2018 Winter Paralympics, 2018 and Wheelchair curling at the 2022 Winter Paralympics, 2022 Winter Paralympics where Slovak team finished on sixth, ninth and fourth places respectively. Ilava
Ilava (, ) is a town in the Trenčín Region, northwestern Slovakia. Name The name is of uncertain origin. The historic medieval names were ''Lewe'', ''Lewa'' (the same historic name as Levice), ''Lewa de cidca fluviom Vag'', later ''Ilava''. The form ''Illava'' is known from the 19th century and was used after the Austro-Hungarian Compromise of 1867. The 2014 Winter Paralympics (), the 11th Paralympic Winter Games, and also more generally known as the Sochi 2014 Paralympic Winter Games, were an international multi-sport event for athletes with disabilities governed by the International Paralympic Committee (IPC), held in Sochi, Russia, from 7 to 16 March 2014. 45 National Paralympic Committees (NPCs) participated in the Games, which marked the first time Russia ever hosted the Paralympics. 2025 World Wheelchair Mixed Doubles Curling Championship
The 2025 World Wheelchair Mixed Doubles Curling Championship was held from March 11 to 16 at the Auchenharvie Leisure Centre in Stevenston, Scotland. The format of the championship will be held in a round robin format with three groups, the top two teams in each group, plus the two third-ranked teams with the better draw shot challenge (DSC), will qualify for the quarter-finals. Teams will be ranked 1 to 8 by comparing the DSCs of the teams with the same rank from each group. This event is the last event to earn Qualification Points for the 2026 Winter Paralympics. 2022 World Wheelchair Mixed Doubles Curling Championship
The 2022 World Wheelchair Mixed Doubles Curling Championship was held from April 30 to May 5 at the Kisakallio Sports Institute in Lohja, Finland. It was the first time the World Wheelchair Mixed Doubles Curling Championship was ever held. Sabina Johansson and Marcus Holm of Sweden beat Rita Sárai and Viktor Beke of Hungary in the final and won the first ever World Wheelchair Mixed Doubles title. Rikke Iversen and Rune Lorentsen of Norway took home the bronze medals after they defeated Orietta Bertò and Paolo Ioratti of Italy in the bronze medal game.
