František Pitoňák
František Pitoňák (born 3 June 1973 in Rakúsy, Kežmarok District, Slovakia) is a Slovak male curler and curling coach. As a coach of Slovak wheelchair curling team he participated in 2014 and 2018 Winter Paralympics. Rakúsy
Rakúsy (, , ) is a village and municipality in Kežmarok District in the Prešov Region of north Slovakia. History In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1288. It belonged to a German language island. Before the establishment of independent Czechoslovakia in 1918, Rakúsy was part of Szepes County within the Kingdom of Hungary. From 1939 to 1945, it was part of the Slovak Republic. On 27 January 1945, the Red Army dislodged the Wehrmacht from Rakúsy in the course of the Western Carpathian offensive and it was once again part of Czechoslovakia. The German population was expelled in 1945. Geography The municipality lies at an altitude of 704 metres and covers an area of 6.341 km2. Demographics According to 2021 census total population has been 3,177. There are 1,662 males and 1,515 females living here.
