Radoinja

Judita Alargić
Judita Alargić-Stambolić (Novi Sad, 1 August 1917 — Belgrade, 2011) was a participant in the Yugoslav Partisans, National Liberation Struggle and a socio-political worker of the Socialist Republic of Serbia. She was a board member of the Women's Antifascist Front of Yugoslavia, Anti-Fascist Women's Front (AFŽ) and continued her political career after the Second World War in the Union of Communists of Serbia. Biography Alargić was born on 1 August 1917 in Novi Sad (then a part of Austria-Hungary). Before the Second World War she was a member of the revolutionary labor movement, whilst working in the textile industry in Belgrade, where she was shocked by the conditions workers were subjected to. In 1939 became a member of the then illegal League of Communists of Yugoslavia, Communist Party of Yugoslavia (KPJ). Nova Varoš
Nova Varoš ( sr-cyr, Нова Варош, ) is a town and municipality located in the Zlatibor District of southwestern Serbia. The municipality of Nova Varoš has a population of 13,507, while the town of Nova Varoš itself has a population of 7,542 inhabitants. History Nova Varoš was founded in the middle of the 16th century. It is associated with the name of Skender Pasha of Genoa. When Skender-pasha, travelling from Bosnia to the Ottoman Empire, Ottoman capital of Istanbul, Constantinople (1530), stopped with his entourage on the plateau below the mountain Zlatar (mountain), Zlatar and was delighted with the beauty of this wooded area and the intoxicating smell of pine, he ordered a town to be built there. Settlements soon sprang up on the site of today's Nova Varoš. It was called Skender-pašina palanka (''Skender-pasha's Palanka'').
