After the liberation of Yugoslavia, Alargić belonged to a group of female revolutionaries who achieved a longer political career. She held the positions of a member of the

At the Fourth Congress of the Communist Party of Serbia, held in June 1959, she was elected as a member of the Central Committee of the Union of Communists of Serbia. She died in 2011.
