Péter Lukács (chess Player)
Péter Lukács (born 9 June 1950) is a Hungarian chess Grandmaster (GM) (1986). He is a Hungarian Chess Championship winner (1980) and a European Team Chess Championship two times silver medalist (1977, 1980). Biography At the turn of 1970s and 1980s Péter Lukács was one of the top Hungarian chess players. In 1980, he won the title of Hungarian Chess Champion, thanks to which two years later he appeared in the World Chess Championship Zonal tournament in Băile Herculane, sharing with Aleksander Sznapik, József Pintér and Florin Gheorghiu 4th place. He won his second national chess championship medal (silver) in 1989. Michał Krasenkow (born 14 November 1963) is a Polish chess grandmaster, chess trainer and writer. He is one of the strongest Polish chess players since World War II. His playing style is aggressive and he has won many "best game" awards. Life and career He was born in Moscow (formerly Mikhail Vladimirovich Krasenkov, ). Master of applied mathematics (1985). His first notable successes date back to the 80s: he became a national master of the USSR in 1982, an International Master in 1988 and an International Grandmaster in 1989. Lillafüred (Miskolc-Lillafüred) is a town in Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén county, Hungary. Officially, it is a part of Miskolc, though it is almost 12 kilometres away from the city, in the Bükk Mountains. Lillafüred is a tourist resort. Julian Michael "Jules" Hodgson (born 25 July 1963 in London) is a British chess player, grandmaster, and former British chess champion. Wolfgang Uhlmann
Wolfgang Uhlmann (29 March 193524 August 2020) was a German chess grandmaster. He was East Germany's most successful chess player between the mid-1950s and the late 1980s, reaching the 1971 Candidates Tournament. During his career, Uhlmann played many of the top players of the time and won the East Germany Chess Championships 11 times. Uhlmann continued to play chess into his later years, before dying at the age of 85 in Dresden. Chess career Wolfgang Uhlmann was born on 29 March 1935 in Dresden, Germany. His father, Alfred, a baker, taught him the game at the age of six but, at age sixteen, he contracted tuberculosis and spent one and a half years in a sanatorium, where he studied the game relentlessly. Hoàng Thanh Trang (born 25 April 1980) is a Vietnamese-born Hungarian chess grandmaster. She was Asian women's champion in 2000 and European women's champion in 2013. Hoang competed in the Women's World Chess Championship in 2000, 2001, 2004, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2015, 2017 and 2018. Ioannis Nikolaidis (born 4 January 1971) is a Greek chess grandmaster (1995). He won the Greek Chess Championship in 1995. and came third in the Balkan Individual Chess Championship of 2002 in Istanbul.
