Piotr Marek Król
Piotr Marek Król (born 26 June 1974) is a Polish politician, a Member of Bydgoszcz City Council who represented the 3rd district. On 12 November 2006 he was elected to Bydgoszcz City Council. He succeeded in getting 931 votes in 3rd district, being a candidate from Law and Justice list. He took office on 27 November 2006. He was a Chairperson of Audit Committee and a member of the Spatial Planning Committee and the Sports and Tourism Committee. He was elected to the Sejm on 5 June 2014 with 5797 votes as a candidate from the Law and Justice list. The Bydgoszcz City Council () is a unicameral governing body of the city of Bydgoszcz, the capital of Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship. It consists of thirty-one councillors elected in free elections for a five-year term. The current chairperson of the council is Monika Matowska. Law and Justice ( , PiS) is a right-wing populist and national-conservative political party in Poland. The party is a member of European Conservatives and Reformists Group. Its chairman has been Jarosław Kaczyński since 18 January 2003. It was founded in 2001 by Jarosław and Lech Kaczyński as a direct successor of the Centre Agreement after it split from the Solidarity Electoral Action (AWS). It won the 2005 parliamentary and presidential elections, after which Lech became the president of Poland. It headed a parliamentary coalition with the League of Polish Families and Self-Defence of the Republic of Poland between 2005 and the 2007 election. 2006 Polish Local Elections
The 2006 Polish local elections were held in two parts. with its first round on 12 November and the second on 26 November 2006. In the election's first round, voters chose 39,944 gmina councillors, 6,284 powiat councillors and 561 deputies to provincial voivodeship sejmiks.
