Philippe Liégeois (born 8 July 1947) is a Belgian comic book artist. He is best known by his pen name Turk. He is the co-author of numerous comic books, including '' Colonel Clifton'', ''Léonard'' and '' Robin Dubois''. The Angoulême International Comics Festival (AICF; ) is the second largest comics festival in Europe after the Lucca Comics & Games in Italy, and the third biggest in the world after Lucca Comics & Games and the Comiket of Japan. It has occurred every year since 1974 in Angoulême, France, on the last week end of January. The Ardennes ( ; ; ; ; ), also known as the Ardennes Forest or Forest of Ardennes, is a region of extensive forests, rough terrain, rolling hills and ridges primarily in Belgium and Luxembourg, extending into Germany and France. Geologically, the range is a western extension of the Eifel; both were raised during the Givetian age of the Devonian (382.7 to 387.7 million years ago), as were several other named ranges of the same greater range. Durbuy (; ) is a city and municipality of Wallonia located in the province of Luxembourg, Belgium. The total area is 156.61 km2, consisting of the following districts: Barvaux, Bende, Bomal, Borlon, Durbuy, Grandhan, Heyd, Izier, Septon, Tohogne, Villers-Sainte-Gertrude, and Wéris. Robert de Groot (26 October 1941 – 17 November 2023) was a Belgian comic books artist and writer. Career While still a young art student de Groot got his first comics experience as an assistant to Maurice Tillieux on ''Félix''. He began creating shorter work for the Franco-Belgian comics magazine ''Pilote'', with creators such as Hubuc, Reiser. With Fred as scenarist he drew the strip ''4 × 8 = 32 L'Agent Caméléon'' in the late 1960s. When the artist Turk joined to assist on the series, de Groot gradually took on increasing amounts of work as scenarist and went on to collaborate with Turk on several series, including ''Archimède'', ''Robin Dubois'' and eventually Raymond Macherot's '' Clifton''.
