Aleksandër Peçi
Aleksandër Peçi (born 11 July 1951 in Tirana) is an Albanian composer. Peçi has composed for movie soundtracks, symphonic, ballet, and operatic settings, among many others. Education He studied at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, Academia Santa Cecilia, and the University of Arts, Tirana, where he worked with Çesk Zadeja. In Paris, he worked with Ton de Leeuw, Paul Méfano, and Jacques Charpentier. In Amsterdam, Peçi studied with Daan Manneke at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. Career Peçi has written over 922 compositions and editions, and 35 CD albums of his music have been published. At the Conservatorio Santa Cecilia, he composed "Etera Tondo", modeled after Paradis of Dante Alighieri. Then, he worked as the director of the Palace of Culture in Përmet. Eno Peçi
Eno Peçi is an Albanian male ballet dancer, living in Austria. Born in Tirana, Albania, he was educated at the Tirana Academy of Ballet and the Ballet School of the Vienna State Opera. He joined the Vienna State Opera in 2000, becoming a Demi-soloist in 2003. He is recognized as the first Albanian dancer to perform live in concert in Vienna. Sotir Peçi
Sotir Peci (1873–1932) was an Albanian politician, educator and mathematician. In 1906 he published the first Albanian-language newspaper in the United States of America in Boston. In 1908 he participated as a delegate in the Congress of Monastir. In 1920 he was appointed Minister of Education of Albania. Early life Sotir Peci was born in Dardhë, a village near Korçë, on July 13, 1873. The son of wealthy merchant Jovan Peci, his father died while he was a child. Peci studied at the local school in Korçë. In 1890 at the age of 17 he enrolled at the University of Athens where he studied physical sciences and graduated with a degree in mathematics. Tërmet Peçi (; born 31 August 1972) is an Albanian politician and member of the Socialist Party of Albania. Since September 2025, he serves as a Member of the Albanian Parliament representing Gjirokastër County. He previously served as Mayor of Tepelenë from June 2011 until March 2025. Peçi was first elected mayor following the 2011 local elections and was re-elected for subsequent terms. In March 2025, he resigned from his mayoral position to run as a candidate in the Elections in Albania, parliamentary elections.
