Peter Borren
Peter William Borren (born 21 August 1983) is a New Zealand-born former cricketer. He was the captain for the Netherlands at the international level, until he retired in April 2018. Early career Borren played club cricket for Old Collegians CC in Christchurch and made his way into the Canterbury cricket side. In the 2002 2002 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup, Under-19 World Cup he represented his native New Zealand cricket team, New Zealand alongside Ross Taylor and Jesse Ryder. He also played for Weedons Club. Domestic career On 24 June 2015, he scored his debut List A cricket, List A century while playing against Papua New Guinea national cricket team, Papua New Guinea in the 2015–17 ICC World Cricket League Championship. VRA Amsterdam
VRA Amsterdam (Volharding RAP Amstels) is a cricket club in Amstelveen, Netherlands. It was founded on September 5, 1914 from the merger of Volharding (1889), RAP (1887) and Amstels C.C. (1885). In the early years the club played visiting English teams at locations like the Vondelpark, Museumplein and the Olympic Stadium. In 1939 VRA moved to the Amsterdamse Bos, where it is located right next to the international Wagener Stadium. The 14,500-capacity VRA Cricket Ground is one of the few grounds on the European mainland with a grass wicket and has become a hub of international cricket. The 2014 ICC World Twenty20 was the fifth edition of the Men's T20 World Cup, formerly known as the ICC World Twenty20, an international Twenty20 cricket tournament, that took place in Bangladesh from 16 March to 6 April 2014. It was played in three cities — Dhaka, Chittagong and Sylhet. The International Cricket Council announced Bangladesh as host in 2010. The 2009 ICC World Twenty20 was the second edition of the Men's T20 World Cup, formerly known as the ICC World Twenty20 that took place in England in June 2009. As before, the tournament featured 12 male teams – nine of the ten Test cricket, Test-playing nations and three associate nations, which earned their places through a 2008 World Twenty20 Qualifier, qualification tournament.
