''El Gráfico'' is an Argentine online magazine, online sports magazine, originally published by Editorial Atlántida as a publication, print publication between 1919 and 2018. ''El Gráfico'' was released in May 1919 as a weekly newspaper, and then turned to a sports magazine exclusively. It began to be scheduled monthly from 2002, and was discontinued in 2018, continuing only online. The magazine was nicknamed ''La Biblia del deporte'' ("The Bible of sports") due to its chronicles, notable journalists and collaborators and its photographies. History The foundation of the magazine was an initiative of Uruguayan entrepreneur Constancio C. Vigil, that had founded ''Atlántida (magazine), Atlántida'' magazine in 1918 with great success, but the ''tragic Week (Argentina), tragic week'' riots in 1919 stopped the activities. Swimming is an individual or team racing sport that requires the use of one's entire body to move through water. The sport takes place in pools or open water (e.g., in a sea or lake). Competitive swimming is one of the most popular Olympic sports, with varied distance events in butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, freestyle, and individual medley. In addition to these individual events, four swimmers can take part in either a freestyle or medley relay. A medley relay consists of four swimmers who will each swim a different stroke, ordered as backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly and freestyle.
