Patrick Müller (cyclist)
Patrick Müller (born 18 April 1996) is a Swiss former professional cyclist, who competed as a professional for the team in 2018 and 2019. He announced his retirement in July 2019 in only his second season as a professional due to a recurring pain in his left leg as well as an unsuccessful operation on the iliac artery. During his career, he had one professional victory: the 2019 Volta Limburg Classic. 2018 UCI Road World Championships
The 2018 UCI Road World Championships were held in Innsbruck, Austria. It was the 91st UCI Road World Championships and the third to be held in Austria. The World Championships consisted of a total of twelve competitions, one road race, one team time trial and one individual time trial for men and women, as well as one road race and one individual time trial for U23 riders and juniors. The Tour de Suisse organisers were responsible for the operational organisation of the races. The competitions were very demanding: the 265-kilometre men's road race had nine climbs with around 5000 metres of altitude difference. Because of the many climbs, some sprinters did not participate in the World Championships because they saw no prospect of success for themselves. It was the last edition to feature a team time trial for UCI trade teams. From 2019 onwards it will be replaced by a mixed team time trial for national teams. The Gent–Wevelgem U23 / Kattekoers-Ieper is a European single day cycle race held in the Belgian region of Flanders. As of 2011, the race is organized as a 1.2 event on the UCI Europe Tour. The race is considered to be the under-23 version of the Gent–Wevelgem classic. The Kattekoers was created in 1934, initially as ''The three belfry cities''.
