Patricio Yáñez
Patricio Nazario Yáñez Candia (born January 20, 1961) is a Chilean former Association football, footballer who played as a Forward (association football), forward. Club career Yáñez began his career in 1977 with San Luis de Quillota, San Luis and won the Copa Apertura Segunda División and Primera B de Chile, Chilean Segunda División in 1980. He moved to Spain to play for Real Valladolid, and won the Copa de la Liga in 1984 Copa de la Liga, 1984. For the 1985–86 season, he went on loan to Real Zaragoza, before playing for Real Betis. In 1990, he returned to Chile, briefly playing for Universidad de Chile (football club), Universidad de Chile, before ending his career with Colo-Colo. During his time there, he won the Chilean Primera División twice and the Copa Chile, Copa Libertadores and Recopa Sudamericana once. The Copa Chile (''Chile Cup'') is an annual cup competition for Chilean football teams. Due to time constraints and club pressure, the trophy was cancelled in 2000, but returned in 2008. Its precursor was the Campeonato de Apertura (''Opening Championship''), played from 1933 to 1950. The cup is now open to every member club of the Chilean football league system, from professional teams; ( Primera División, Primera B & Segunda División), down to teams from the ANFA: Tercera División. Canal 13 is a Chilean free-to-air television network. Informally known in Chile as El 13 (The Thirteen), it is the second oldest television station in the country. Launched on August 21, 1959, on VHF channel 2 in Santiago, it was founded by a group of engineers from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. Roberto Rojas (Chilean Footballer)
Roberto Antonio Rojas Saavedra (born 8 August 1957), nicknamed El Cóndor, is a retired Chilean football goalkeeper. In 1989, he deliberately injured himself during a World Cup qualifying match in an attempt to avoid a loss by the Chile national team. The incident resulted in a lifetime ban for Rojas and one World Cup ban for Chile. His ban was subsequently lifted in 2001. Playing career Rojas was born and raised in the capital Santiago. He began his career in 1976 with Deportes Aviación and went on to play for Colo-Colo from 1983 until 1987. With Colo-Colo, Rojas won national titles in 1983 and 1986.
