Paris Châtillon XIII is a French Rugby League team based in Châtillon in the Hauts-de-Seine department in the Île-de-France region. In 2023, the club plays in the Federal Division, but has participated in the national level championships, 1st division (A and B), Elite 1 and Elite 2 in the past. Châtillon () is a commune in the southwestern suburbs of Paris, France. It is located from the center of Paris. The town was formerly named ''Châtillon-sous-Bagneux'', and a relic of this denomination remains in at least one road sign in Vanves (located at the junction Boulevard du Lycée and Avenue Charles de Gaulle, and written as ''Châtillon s/ B''). The TGV trains are maintained at the "Établissement Industriel de Maintenance du TGV de Châtillon" (EIM TGV de Châtillon). John Maguire (rugby League)
John Maguire Was an Australian former rugby league footballer who played in the 1960s and 1970s. He played for Cronulla-Sutherland, Parramatta and St George in the New South Wales Rugby League (NSWRL) competition. Subsequent to his career in football he became a teacher and principal. Background Maguire grew up in the Cronulla region and played for the Presidents Cup team before he was graded by St George as at the time Cronulla did not have a side competing in the NSWRL competition. Playing career Maguire made his first grade debut for St George in 1966. Maguire was not part of the grand final winning team which defeated Balmain to win their 11th straight premiership. National Division 2 is the fourth tier of rugby league in France, below the National Division 1. The season runs from September to April. The Division is split into 5 regional leagues, East, South 1, South 2, South-East, South-West and West. Clubs play each other home and away in their respective regional league with the top clubs progressing into a series of play-off matches to determine the champions. The champions can apply for promotion to the ''National Division 1''. This tier was formerly known as the Federal Championship. Andrew Farrar
Andrew Farrar is an Australian former rugby league footballer and coach. He played for the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs, Western Suburbs, Wigan and the Illawarra Steelers. Farrar also played for New South Wales in the State of Origin on several occasions and played for Australia in the 1988 World Cup Final. As a coach he worked with the Illawarra Steelers, the St. George Illawarra Dragons and the Wigan Warriors, and from 2017 to 2019 was the General Manager of Football at the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs. Lyon Villeurbanne XIII are a semi-professional rugby league club from the town of Lyon, Rhône-Alpes in France. Formed in 1934 they are one of the oldest clubs in France. The Balmain Tigers (also known as the Sydney Tigers from 1995 to 1996) are a rugby league club based in the inner-western Sydney suburb of Balmain, New South Wales, Balmain. They were a founding member of the New South Wales Rugby League and one of the most successful in the history of the premiership, with eleven titles. In 1999 they formed a joint venture club with the Western Suburbs Magpies club to form the Wests Tigers for competition in the National Rugby League (NRL).
