Panelák (TV Series)
Panelák is a Slovak daily television series that aired from 2008 until 2017 on TV JOJ. In Slovak language, Slovak, ''panelák'' means "block of flats". The soap opera follows the lives of a group of people living in an apartment building. Background ''Panelák'' originally aired for fifteen seasons from 18 February 2008 until 17 June 2015 as a daily series, becoming the longest-running television show in Slovak history. In 2017, it was brought back for one more season upon its fifteenth anniversary, from 29 March until 30 August. The soap opera is loosely connected to the earlier Slovak series ''Susedia'' (Neighbours), broadcast by Markíza from 2006 until 2007, and later rebooted in 2018. The creator of ''Panelák'', Andrej Kraus, had worked on the older show as well. The two series also shared some cast members, including Kraus himself, and Viktória Ráková. Viktória Ráková Lakatos (born 15 March 1981) is a Slovak television and theatre actress. She is best known for starring in the TV Shows ''Panelák'' and ''Susedia''. Biography Viktória Ráková was born on 15 March 1981 in Rimavská Sobota. She is of Hungarian ethnicity. She studied acting at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava, graduating in 2006. Ján, also credited as Janko Lehotský (born 16 April 1947) is a Slovak composer and former leader of the Modus band. Lehotský began his performing career when he was four years old, when he performed in a marionette theater. He was a freelance composer during the Velvet Revolution. Richard Müller (singer)
Richard Müller (born 6 September 1961) is a Slovak singer, songwriter, photographer, and occasional actor. He is one of the most successful singers in both Czechia and Slovakia, where he has sold more than one million records. At the beginning of his musical career, he was a member of Pavel Daněk's band Burčiak and later formed his own group, Banket (band), Banket, with whom he recorded three studio albums. He launched a solo career in the early 1990s and has issued sixteen studio albums as well as several compilations and live recordings. Sisa Sklovská
Sisa Sklovská (born 13 October 1965) is a Slovak singer. She studied at Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava (VŠMU) and subsequently joined the Slovak National Theatre, where she performed for five years as a soloist. TV JOJ
TV JOJ is a Slovak private TV channel owned by J&T Enterprises and launched in March 2002. The channel screens serial dramas and TV shows. The name JOJ is derived from a Slovak interjection, comparable to ''oh là là''. History It was launched on 2 March 2002 as a successor of the network TV Global, which had been broadcasting since March 2000.
