Pak Elektron Football Club served as the football section of Pakistani appliance and electronics company Pak Elektron Limited. The club was based in Lahore and played its home games at Punjab Stadium. Punjab Stadium
The Punjab Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Lahore, Pakistan. It is currently used mostly for football matches and serves as one of the home venues for the Pakistan national football team. The stadium has a capacity of around 10,000 spectators. It is owned and operated by the Punjab Sports Board. History Early years The construction of the multi-purpose stadium started in 1999 aimed to host the National Games of Pakistan. The Government of Punjab gave Rs 110 million for the project to the Lahore Development Authority before the start of the work. 2007–08 PFF League
The 2007–08 PFF League was the 4th season of PFF League, second tier of Pakistan Football Federation. The season started on 7 November 2007 concluded on 30 January 2008. Pak Electron were declared the champions, and gained promotion to the 2008–09 Pakistan Premier League along with the second-placed Pakistan Steel. Format Fifteen teams competed in the tournament. However, Sindh Government Press FC withdrew before the tournament started. In the group stage, teams were divided into two groups of seven teams each, playing each other in a round-robin format. Top three teams from each group progressed to the Super Six stage, where they had to play against each other in another round-robin league. Top two teams from the Super Six stage were promoted to the 2008–09 Pakistan Premier League, with the top team being declared as the PFF League champion. The 2008–09 Pakistan Premier League was the 5th season of the Pakistan Premier League and the 54th season of Pakistan domestic football. It was held from July 22, 2008 to December 6, 2008 under the auspices of Pakistan Football Federation (PFF).
