PHotoEspaña, the International Festival of Photography and Visual Arts of Madrid, is a Spanish photography festival based in Madrid, founded in 1998. It is supported by private companies and public institutions, and its program presents work by Spanish and international photographers. Loewe S.A. ( , , ; Style (visual arts), stylized as LOEWE) is a Spanish luxury Fashion design, fashion house specialising in leather goods, clothing, perfumes and other fashion accessories. Founded in 1846 in Madrid, Loewe is part of LVMH since 1996, and is the oldest luxury fashion house of the holding. The company was established in Madrid in 1846 by fashion designer Enrique Loewe. Dewi Lewis
Dewi Lewis (born Denbigh, Wales, 10 March 1951) is a publisher and curator of photography. Career In 1975, Lewis was the founding director of the Bury, Greater Manchester, Bury Metropolitan Arts Association which operates The Met (arts centre), the Met. Lewis also founded and was the first director of Cornerhouse, an arts centre in Manchester, England. He ran the organisation until 1994 when he left to establish Dewi Lewis Publishing. In 2015 Cornerhouse merged with the Library Theatre Company to create a new venue 'Home'. .[ Lewis was made an Honorary Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society in 2004 and was awarded the Society’s inaugural RPS Award for Outstanding Service to Photography in 2009. Max Pam
Max Pam (born 1949) is an Australian photographer. Pam's first survey exhibition was held at the Art Gallery of Western Australia in 1986, followed by a mid-career retrospective at the Art Gallery of New South Wales in 1991, his largest solo show to date at the Sogo Nara Museum of Art in Japan and was the subject of a major exhibition at the Comptoir de la Photographie in Paris in 1990, which covered the work of three decades. He has published several photographic monographs and 'carnets de voyage'. Life and work Pam was born in Melbourne, Australia. Harri Pälviranta
Harri Pälviranta (born 1971 in Tampere, Finland) is a visual artist who uses mostly photography but also moving images and archival approach. Pälviranta is also a researcher, who specializes in photography studies and theories of documentary. Career Pälviranta started his academic studies in 1993 at the Tampere University, majoring in political sciences. In 1996, he moved to Turku to study photography at the Turku Arts Academy and received his BFA in 2000. In 2002, he started studying media studies at the University of Turku, receiving MA in 2005. In 2007 he moved to Helsinki to work on his doctoral thesis at the Aalto University, and he successfully defended the thesis (''EXPERIENCING REALITY IN AN ART EXHIBITION.
