The alliance was formalized on November 29, 2021, with Senator Imee Marcos coining the name UniTeam. UniTeam as an electoral alliance was dissolved shortly after the landslide wins of both candidates in the 2022 national elections. The term "UniTeam" continued to be used to refer to the relationship between the president and vice-president, until relations broke down between the two after Duterte's resignation from the Marcos cabinet in July 2024 and the antagonistic rhetoric of the Duterte family against Marcos in the succeeding months. The resulting feud between the Marcos and Duterte families has also been termed as "Kadiliman vs. Kasamaan" () by critics of the Marcos administration, taken from an accidental quote by lawyer Harry Roque. Koalisyong Pambansa
The Koalisyong Pambansa () was the coalition formed by the Liberal Party and the PDP–Laban for the 1992 Philippine general election. The coalition was seen to lean left-of-center. It emerged as a coalition between activists and liberals, supporting candidates who explicitly adopted progressive positions. The coalition nominated Jovito Salonga of the Liberal Party for president, and PDP–Laban founder Aquilino Pimentel Jr. for vice president. It had a 23-person slate for the Senate election, and had common candidates in the House of Representatives elections. The coalition was cash strapped, as both Salonga and Pimentel voted to evict the U.S. bases in the country, a move which was unfavorably seen by the business community. Both Salonga and Pimentel ultimately lost, with Salonga finishing sixth of seven candidates, just behind Imelda Marcos, the former first lady. Yellow
Yellow is the color between green and orange on the spectrum of light. It is evoked by light with a dominant wavelength of roughly 575585 nm. It is a primary color in subtractive color systems, used in painting or color printing. In the RGB color model, used to create colors on television and computer screens, yellow is a secondary color made by combining red and green at equal intensity. Carotenoids give the characteristic yellow color to autumn leaves, corn, canaries, daffodils, and lemons, as well as egg yolks, buttercups, and bananas. They absorb light energy and protect plants from photo damage in some cases. Sunlight has a slight yellowish hue when the Sun is near the horizon, due to atmospheric scattering of shorter wavelengths (green, blue, and violet). Because it was widely available, yellow ochre pigment was one of the first colors used in art; the Lascaux cave in France has a painting of a yellow horse 17,000 years old. Ochre and orpiment pigmen ...

Political Positions Of Rodrigo Duterte
The political positions of Rodrigo Duterte, the 16th President of the Philippines, have been difficult to define coherently into what some analysts have attempted to package as "Dutertism" or "Dutertismo" due to numerous policy shifts during his presidency. Ideology Duterte's political party, PDP-Laban, describes itself as a democratic socialist party, and Duterte has nominally identified as a socialist, making appeals to left-leaning sectors. He has also stressed that he was not a communist. He was once a member of the national democratic Kabataang Makabayan during the 1970s, and was himself a student of José María Sison, founder of the Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP). Earlier in his presidency, he had shown favor to the left in a series of speeches: on one occasion he proclaimed himself as the first "leftist President"; called the CPP a "revolutionary government"; ordered his officials to file petitions in court for the release of about 20 jailed communis ...

Genuine Opposition
The Genuine Opposition (GO) was an electoral alliance in the Philippines that contested the 2007 Philippine general election. The alliance's members were in opposition to President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo. It was originally called the United Opposition (UNO), founded by Makati Mayor Jejomar Binay in June 2005 to unite all politicians who wanted to impeach President Arroyo. UNO then reorganized itself and changed its name to Grand and Broad Coalition (GBC), with the UNO party under that coalition.
