Nikki Harris
Nikki Louise Brammeier (née Harris; born 30 December 1986) is an English former professional racing cyclist from Draycott, Derbyshire. She began cycling at five and has won championships in various disciplines. Brammeier has competed in international events including the UCI Track Cycling World Cup Classics and the Commonwealth Games. She won her first UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup in 2015 at Cyclo-cross Namur. In November 2017 Brammeier announced that she would be leaving the team at the end of the year in order to focus solely on cyclo-cross. The following month she and her husband Matt Brammeier announced the establishment of the MUDIIITA cyclo-cross project, intended to encourage participation in the sport in the UK, including a professional team known as MUDIIITA–Canyon. Cyclo-cross Namur
The Cyclo-cross Namur, also called the Citadelcross, is a cyclo-cross race in Namur (city), Namur, Belgium. The track is on the hills around the Citadel of Namur, citadel there. First held in 2009, it was originally part of the Gazet van Antwerpen Trophy but became part of the UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup in the 2011–2012 season. The track is considered one of the heaviest and sometimes compared to a mountain-bike track. British National Road Race Championships
The British National Road Race Championships cover different categories of United Kingdom, British road bicycle racing events, normally held annually. History Between 1943 and 1958, two separate bodies – the British League of Racing Cyclists (BLRC) and the National Cyclists' Union (NCU) – ran championships in competition with each other. Between 1946 and 1958 the BLRC's championships were split into two, an amateur race and the independent championship for semi-professional riders. Women's championships were introduced by the BLRC in 1947, and by the NCU in 1956. In 1959, the NCU and the BLRC merged to create the British Cycling, British Cycling Federation. Separate amateur and professional men's championships were held from 1959 until 1995. In recent years the under 23 and senior races have been combined, which has caused some confusion in the interpretation of UCI rules. Koppenbergcross
The Cyclo-cross Koppenberg is a cyclo-cross race held since 1988 in Oudenaarde, Belgium, and is part of the Cyclo-cross Trophy. The cyclo-cross race uses the Koppenberg climb that has been used many times in the Belgian Classic the Tour of Flanders. This is a very steep and cobbled climb that is part of the course of which the riders do eight laps. Cyclo-cross Zonhoven
The Cyclo-cross Zonhoven is a cyclo-cross race in Zonhoven, Belgium. Established in 1958, it was held in December till 1966 after which the race ceased to exist. In 2005 the event was restarted, this time in October. In the 2009–2010 season it became part of the Cyclo-cross Superprestige, Superprestige and was then held in February. The next season, still as a part of the Superprestige, it was held in October again. Since then it has been held either at the end of October or the beginning of November. In 2018 it's held mid-December. Since the season 2021-2022 the race is part of the UCI World Cup. Vlaamse Druivenveldrit Overijse
The Druivencross, also known as Vlaamse Druivenveldrit, is a cyclo-cross race held in Overijse, Belgium. The race is organised by the VZW Sportvrienden Overijse and was first held in 1960. The race is regarded as a Cyclo-cross classic and has a difficult and dangerous parcours that often results in crashes. History Two members of the Overijse cycling club, Frans Vanhoey and Joris Bergiers, originally organized the event in 1960. Up until 1989 the race was usually held twice a year and was held three times in 1975. In addition the Belgian national cyclo-cross championships have been held on the course on five occasions in 1965, 1976, 1983, 1990 and 1996 and were organized by the same organizations. On two occasions a two-man cyclo-cross race or Koppelveldrit was also run on the same course and disputed by professional or elite cyclo-cross riders. The Vlaamse Aardbeiencross is a cyclo-cross race held in Belgium since 1987. It was held in Hoogstraten between 1987 and 2020. It became part of the Superprestige in the 1998–1999 season.
