Nelu Stănescu
Nelu Stănescu (4August 195711March 2004) was a Romanian football left defender. Club career Nelu Stănescu was born on 1 January 1956 in Babadag, Romania. He was a left defender and started playing football in the lower leagues at Granitul Babadag and Delta Tulcea. In 1979 he was transferred to Dinamo București where on 2 September he made his Divizia A debut in a 2–0 victory against Olimpia Satu Mare. He won three consecutive Divizia A titles from 1982 until 1984, at the first coach Valentin Stănescu used him in 28 matches, in the following two he worked with Nicolae Dumitru who gave him 14 appearances in the first and 26 in which he scored two goals in the second. Babadag
Babadag (; , "Father Mountain"), formerly known as Babatag, is a town in Tulcea County, Romania, located on a small lake formed by the river Taița, in the densely wooded highlands of Northern Dobruja. One of the several tombs of Sari Saltik is found in town. The is divided only by a strip of marshland from Razim Lake, a broad landlocked sheet of water spilling into the Black Sea. Marin Dragnea
Marin Dragnea (born 1 January 1956) is a former Romanian footballer who played as a midfielder. Club career Marin Dragnea was born on 1 January 1956 in Slobozia Moară, Romania. He started playing football at the junior squads of Progresul București under coach Nicolae Gorgorin, starting to play at senior level in 1972 when the club was in Divizia B, being given his debut by coach Eugen Iordache and later working with Viorel Mateianu. He was transferred to Dinamo București where he stayed one year without playing as he suffered a cruciate ligament injury while he was a player at Progresul which recurred when he played for them in a friendly. The Liga 2, most commonly spelled as Liga II, is the second level of the Romanian football league system. The league changed its name from Divizia B just before the start of the 2006–07 Liga II, 2006–07 football season. It is currently Sponsor (commercial), sponsored by Casa Pariurilor, a betting company under the official name Liga 2 Casa Pariurilor. ASA Târgu Mureș (1962)
ASA Târgu Mureș is a Romanian football club based in Târgu Mureș, Mureș County. It was founded in 1962, and in August 1964 merged with Mureșul Târgu Mureș. Financially sustained by the Ministry of National Defence, ASA was considered privileged by the communist regime and an unofficial satellite club of Steaua București. Its ascent was fast, ASA becoming one of the most notable teams in the country. After the Romanian Revolution, "the Army Men" declined and in 2005 went bankrupt. 1981–82 UEFA Cup
The 1981–82 UEFA Cup was the 11th edition of the UEFA Cup, the third-tier club football competition organised by UEFA. The final was played over two legs at Ullevi, Gothenburg, Sweden, and at the Volksparkstadion, Hamburg, Germany. The final was won by IFK Göteborg of Sweden, who defeated Hamburger SV of Germany by an aggregate result of 4–0 to claim their first UEFA Cup title.
