Neftçi Arena is a stadium, soccer-specific stadium located in 8th Kilometer, Baku, Azerbaijan. It was opened in 2012 and has a capacity of 10,289 spectators. In 2013 it was renamed to Bakcell Arena. The name of the stadium was changed to Neftçi Arena in August 2023. Neftçi Arena is serving as the home ground of the Azerbaijan Premier League club Neftçi PFK, Neftçi. The stadium hosted some of the 2012 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup matches. Nizami Rayon () is a municipal district of the city of Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. Its population is 201,239, and it includes the municipality of Keşlə. Neftçi Peşəkar Futbol Klubu, known simply as Neftçi () or Neftchi Baku, is an Azerbaijani professional association football, football club based in the capital Baku, that plays in the Azerbaijan Premier League, the highest tier of Football in Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan football. The club was founded on 18 March 1937 and played under the name of Neftyanik until 1968. Since then, the club has been competing under the name of Neftçi. Neftçi played for a total of 27 seasons in the Soviet Top League, Top Division of Soviet football. The walls of the station are decorated with multi-colored mosaic panels depicting the work of oil workers. The author of these mosaic panels was Arif Agamalov. In the middle of the hall there is a double row of silver, corrugated columns. On the ceiling, cut into cells, there are fluorescent lamps that give a soft, even light.
