Nakayoshi
is a monthly Shōjo manga, ''shōjo'' manga List of manga magazines, magazine published by Kodansha in Japan. First issued in December 1954, it is a long-running magazine with over 60 years of manga publication history. Notable titles serialized in ''Nakayoshi include'' ''Princess Knight'', ''Candy Candy'', ''Sailor Moon, Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon'', ''Cardcaptor Sakura'' and ''Pretty Cure''. Roughly the size of a phone book (hence the term "phone book manga"), the magazine generally comes with ''furoku'', or small gifts, such as pop-out figures, games, small bags, posters, stickers, and so on. , also known as ''My Guardian Characters'', is a Japanese shōjo manga, ''shōjo'' manga series created by the Mangaka, manga author duo, Peach-Pit (manga artist duo), Peach-Pit. The story centers on elementary school girl Amu Hinamori, whose popular exterior, referred to as "cool and spicy" by her classmates, contrasts with her introverted personality. Aoi-chan Panic!
is a Japanese manga artist and illustrator. He attended College of Economics at Nihon University. His spouse is manga artist Reiko Yano. He cites artists such as Shinji Wada, Fumio Hisamatsu, Shotaro Ishinomori, and Mitsuteru Yokoyama as his influences. Biography was born January 19, 1959, in Saitama Prefecture, Japan. He attended and graduated from Nihon University in the College of Economics. His professional manga debut, (using the pen name Izumi Takemoto), appeared in the August 1981 issue of ''Nakayoshi'', though it wasn't published in book form until 2003. All of his professional manga and illustration work has appeared using the name "Izumi Takemoto". In an interview with BookScan, Takemoto cited artists such as Shinji Wada, Fumio Hisamatsu, Shotaro Ishinomori, and Mitsuteru Yokoyama as his influences. ''Princess Knight'', also known as ''Ribon no Kishi'', is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Osamu Tezuka. This manga follows the adventures of Sapphire, a girl who was born accidentally with a blue heart of a boy and a pink heart of a girl. She pretends to be a prince to prevent the evil Duke Duralumin from taking over the kingdom through his son, Plastic. The gender-bending main character was inspired by the all-female musical theater group Takarazuka Revue in which women performed both female and male roles. is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Neko Nekobe which ran in ''Nakayoshi''. A 54-episode anime television series aired on TV Asahi from January 12, 1991 through February 29, 1992. Each episode of the anime contained two 11-minute stories, often unconnected with each other. A short film was released in 1992. The anime was made into an anime comic format with six episodes per volume. The first volume was released on July 25, 1991.
