Bob Meacham
Robert Andrew Meacham (born August 25, 1960) is an American former professional baseball shortstop, who spent his entire six-year big league playing career with the New York Yankees of Major League Baseball (MLB). Since retiring from active play, Meacham has managed and coached for several organizations. He was most recently a coach for the Philadelphia Phillies. Doug Meacham (born December 16, 1964) is an American football coach. He played college football at Oklahoma State University, where he was an offensive lineman. Meacham was hired by TCU to be their offensive coordinator on December 12, 2013. In his first year at TCU in 2014 he was a finalist for the Broyles Award. Sir John Alexander Macdonald (January 10 or 11, 1815 – June 6, 1891) was the first prime minister of Canada, serving from 1867 to 1873 and from 1878 to 1891. The dominant figure of Canadian Confederation, he had a political career that spanned almost half a century. Mildred Meacham (May 5, 1924 – January 7, 2017) was an infielder who played in the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League. Listed at 5' 8", 160 lb., Meacham batted and threw right handed. She was nicknamed ″Meach″. Mildred Meacham was a fast base runner and showed good defensive skills at first base during her two seasons in the league. Born in Charlotte, North Carolina, Meacham grew up playing basketball and softball while at high school. She played in the National Girls Baseball League of Chicago before joining the AAGPBL in 1947 with the Fort Wayne Daisies. William Meacham () is an American archaeologist living and working in Hong Kong since 1970. Meacham has written several books on archaeology in southern China. In 1977, he published an article on South China archaeology in the journal ''Current Anthropology'', opposing the then general consensus that innovations spread south from the Central Plains of North China. This "nuclear area hypothesis" was promoted by Kwang-chih Chang, the prominent doyen of ancient China archaeology. Meacham is an unincorporated community in Umatilla County, Oregon. It is located on the old alignment of U.S. Route 30 off Interstate 84, in the Umatilla National Forest, near Emigrant Springs State Heritage Area and the route of the Oregon Trail. It is part of the Pendleton– Hermiston Micropolitan Statistical Area. Demographics History Meacham was a station on the Union Pacific Railroad, near the summit of the Blue Mountains. Major Henry A. G. Lee established a troop encampment, called Lee's Encampment, there in 1844. Meacham was named for Harvey J. and Alfred B.
