Møre Og Romsdal Agricultural Museum
The Møre og Romsdal Agricultural Museum () is part of the Sunnmøre Museum Foundation. It is located in Gjermundnes in Vestnes Municipality. The museum was originally a "large farm" (, in contrast to a small_farm.html" ;"title="small farm">small farm"or ["leased farm"]) and later on an agricultural school. The former Møre og Romsdal, Romsdal County (''Romsdalen amt'') purchased the Gjermundnes Farm 1898. A new facility was built in 1908 to meet the special requirements for the newly established agricultural school. That building had become dilapidated by 1972, and it was decided to demolish it when new construction was completed. However, with financial support from the county executive board, the Norwegian Directorate for Cultural Heritage, and the municipality of Vestnes, the old facility was renovated and converted into an agricultural museum. Gjermundnes
Gjermundnes is a hamlet on the east side of the mouth of Tres Fjord in Vestnes Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It lies a short distance to the northeast of the village of Vikebukt. ''Gjermundnes'' is also the name of the peninsula where the hamlet is located. The village includes the historic Gjermundnes Farm and an agricultural school, which is the only agricultural school in Møre og Romsdal county. It is also the location of the Møre og Romsdal Agricultural Museum. Gjermundnes Farm
The Gjermundnes Farm () is a Norwegian farm at Gjermundnes in Vestnes Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county. It is located along the Romsdalsfjord, just north of the village of Vikebukt. The farm dates back to the Middle Ages and is a former large farm (''storgård'', in contrast to a ''småbruk'' 'small farm' or ''husmannsplass'' 'leased farm'). The farm was purchased by the former Romsdal County (''Romsdalen amt'') in 1898 and divided, and half of it became an agricultural school. is a town in Rauma Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. Åndalsnes is also the administrative center of Rauma Municipality. Romsdalsfjord
or is the ninth-longest fjord in Norway. The long fjord is located in the Romsdal district of Møre og Romsdal county. It flows through the municipalities of Molde, Haram, Vestnes, and Rauma.
