Mônica Rodrigues Carvalho (born March 28, 1971, in Rio de Janeiro) is a Brazilian actress and former model. Biography She is the daughter of retired Polish descent Sérgio Carvalho and his wife, originally from Bahia and Portugal, Mary of Graces. She is the sister of the merchant, Sérgio Ricardo. ''Malhação'' (, ''Young Hearts'' in English) is a Brazilian soap-opera that aired on TV Globo from 4 March 1995 to 3 April 2020. The series is targeted at a teenage audience. The Grêmio Recreativo Escola de Samba Beija-Flor is a Samba school headquartered in the municipality of Nilópolis, Baixada Fluminense, in the state of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
