Myklebust is a village on the southern end of the island of Harøya in Ålesund Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The village lies about south of village of Steinshamn. There are ferry connections from Myklebost to Fjørtofta and Brattvåg (both in Haram Municipality) and to Dryna (in Molde Municipality). History The Myklebost area was a part of Haram Municipality until 1965 when it became part of Sandøy Municipality. In 2020, it became part of Ålesund Municipality. Harøy Church is located about north of the village. The long Fjørtoftfjord Tunnel runs from Myklebost on Harøya island under the Fjørtoftfjorden to the nearby island of Fjørtofta. Nordøyvegen () is a road network in Sunnmøre in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The bridge and tunnel network connects the islands of the former Sandøy Municipality (now part of Ålesund Municipality) and the islands of Haram Municipality to the mainland. Harøy Church
Harøy Church () is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Ålesund Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It is located in the central part of the island of Harøya, just north of the Lomstjønna Nature Reserve. It is one of the two churches for the Sandøy parish which is part of the Nordre Sunnmøre prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Møre. Dryna is an island in Molde Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It is the westernmost of the main islands in the municipality.
