Munster Under-21 Football Championship
The Munster GAA Football Under-20 Championship, known simply as the Munster Under-20 Championship, is an annual inter-county Gaelic football competition organised by the Munster Council of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA). It is the highest inter-county football competition for male players between the ages of 17 and 20 in the province of Munster. The championship was contested as the Munster Under-21 Championship between 1962 and 2016 before changing to an under-20 age category from 2018. It is sponsored by EirGrid. The final, currently held in March, serves as the culmination of a series of games played during a three-week period, and the results determine which team receives the Corn na Cásca. The championship has always been played on a straight knockout basis whereby once a team loses they are eliminated from the championship. 2025 All-Ireland Under-20 Football Championship
The 2025 All-Ireland Under-20 Football Championship was the seventh staging of the All-Ireland Under-20 Football Championship, All-Ireland Under-20 Championship and the 62nd staging overall of a Gaelic football championship for players between the All-Ireland Minor Football Championship, minor and All-Ireland Senior Football Championship, senior grades. The 2024 All-Ireland Under-20 Football Championship, defending champions Tyrone GAA, Tyrone retained their Ulster Championship title and qualified for the All-Ireland final by defeating Munster GAA, Munster champions Kerry, in the first of the All-Ireland semi-finals on 11 March. Clare GAA
The Clare County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) () or Clare GAA is one of the 32 County board (Gaelic games), county boards of the GAA in Ireland, and is responsible for Gaelic games in County Clare. Mickey Ned O'Sullivan
Mickey "Ned" O'Sullivan (born 14 April 1952) is an Irish former Gaelic football manager, selector and former player. His league and championship career at senior level with the Kerry county team spanned ten seasons from 1971 to 1980. Born in Kenmare, County Kerry, O'Sullivan was educated at Coláiste Íosagáin in Ballyvourney where he played Gaelic football. He later played with University College Dublin during his studies there. By this stage O'Sullivan had also joined the Kenmare club team, with whom he won three county intermediate championship medals. He also lined out with the Kenmare District divisional side, and won two county senior championship medals. John Cleary (Gaelic Footballer)
John Cleary (born 20 June 1963) is an Irish former Gaelic footballer who played as a left corner-forward at senior level for the Cork county team. Born in Castlehaven, County Cork, Cleary first arrived on the inter-county scene at the age of sixteen when he first linked up with the Cork minor team before later joining the under-21 side. He made his senior debut during the 1983 championship. Cleary immediately became a regular member of the starting fifteen and won two All-Ireland medals, three Munster medals and one National Football League medal. He was an All-Ireland runner-up on three occasions. Cleary was a member of the Munster inter-provincial team on a number of occasions but never won a Railway Cup medal. Jack O'Connor (Gaelic Footballer)
Jack O'Connor (born 23 October 1960) is an Irish Gaelic football manager and former player. In 2021, he was appointed manager of the senior Kerry county team, having earlier managed it over two terms in the 2000s. O'Connor played football with his local club Dromid Pearses from the 1970s until the early 2000s. As manager, he guided Kerry to four All-Ireland SFC titles: in 2004, 2006, 2009 and 2022, during three terms as manager. Early life Born in 1960 at Toorsaleen in Mastergeehy County Kerry.
