2025 All-Ireland Under-20 Football Championship
The 2025 All-Ireland Under-20 Football Championship was the seventh staging of the All-Ireland Under-20 Football Championship, All-Ireland Under-20 Championship and the 62nd staging overall of a Gaelic football championship for players between the All-Ireland Minor Football Championship, minor and All-Ireland Senior Football Championship, senior grades. The 2024 All-Ireland Under-20 Football Championship, defending champions Tyrone GAA, Tyrone retained their Ulster Championship title and qualified for the All-Ireland final by defeating Munster GAA, Munster champions Kerry, in the first of the All-Ireland semi-finals on 11 March. They awaited the winner of the clash between Mayo and Louth, which the Leinster Champions won by a single point. Leinster Under-20 Football Championship
The Leinster GAA Football Under-20 Championship, known simply as the Leinster Under-20 Championship, is an annual inter-county Gaelic football competition organised by the Leinster Council of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA). It is the highest inter-county football competition for male players between the ages of 17 and 20 in the province of Leinster. The championship was contested as the Leinster Under-21 Championship between 1964 and 2016 before changing to an under-20 age category from 2018. It is sponsored by EirGrid. The final, currently held in July, serves as the culmination of a series of games played during a five to six-week period, and the results determine which team receives the Flood Cup. The championship has usually been played on a straight knockout basis whereby once a team loses they are eliminated from the championship. Meath GAA
The Meath County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) () or Meath GAA is one of the 32 county boards of the GAA in Ireland, and is responsible for Gaelic games in County Meath, as well as for Meath county teams. Football County team The first notable Meath team was the Pierce O'Mahony's club from Navan that represented the county in the All-Ireland final of 1895, when the competition used to be played between the champion clubs from each county. St Jarlath's Park (''Páirc Iarflaith Naofa'', commonly known as Tuam Stadium) is a GAA stadium in Tuam, County Galway, Ireland. It is one of the principal stadiums of Galway GAA's football teams. The ground once had a capacity of around 26,000. This has progressively been reduced for safety reasons and has most recently been reduced to 6,700. The official opening of the stadium took place on 21 May 1950. It was blessed and officially opened by the Archbishop of Tuam, Rev. Dr Walsh. The Sligo County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) () or Sligo GAA is one of the 32 county boards of the GAA in Ireland, and is responsible for Gaelic games in County Sligo. The county board is also responsible for the Sligo county teams. The county football team plays in the Connacht Senior Football Championship but has only won three senior provincial titles, in 1928, 1975 and 2007. Sligo has never appeared in an All-Ireland final.
