Mohammedan Sporting Club (), commonly referred to as Mohammedan, is an Indian sports club, multi-sports club based in Kolkata, West Bengal. The club is best known for their professional men's association football, football section which competes in the Indian Super League, the top of the Indian football league system, as well as the Calcutta Football League (CFL), the List of oldest football competitions, oldest football league in Asia. Formed in February 1891, it is one of the oldest active football clubs in the country. Mohammedan is first Indian club to win the Durand Cup, also the first Indian club to win a overseas tournament. Kishore Bharati Krirangan (commonly known as Mukundapur Stadium) is a multi-purpose stadium in Kolkata, West Bengal. used mainly for Association football, football matches. The capacity of the stadium is 12,000 and the size of the sports complex is 13 acres. The stadium plays host to Mohammedan SC (Kolkata), Mohammedan SC's non-derby Indian Super League matches and lower division Calcutta Football League matches. The Durand Cup (also called the IndianOil Durand Cup Powered by Coal India Limited for sponsorship reasons) is an annual domestic football competition in India which was first held in 1888 in Annadale, Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. The Federation Cup was an annual knockout football competition and the premier cup competition in men's domestic Indian football until 2017. Established in 1977, it was organized by the All India Football Federation (AIFF). The Federation Cup was eventually replaced by the Super Cup from the 2018 season. 2020 I-League Qualifiers
The 2020 I-League qualifiers (also known as Hero I-League Qualifiers 2020 for sponsorship reasons) was the 13th season of I-League 2nd Division, the second division of Indian football league, since its establishment in 2008. The league was kicked-off from 25 January 2020. The season was shortened due to COVID-19 pandemic in India and Mohammedan won the league, being promoted to 2020–21 I-League.
