Modimolle, also known as Nylstroom, is a town located near the southern edge of the Waterberg Massif in Limpopo province, South Africa. It is a medium-sized town that focuses primarily on agriculture and farming (citrus, grapes and cattle) as well as wildlife and tourism. Modimolle–Mookgophong Local Municipality
Modimolle–Mookgophong Municipality (; ; ) is a local municipality within the Waterberg District Municipality, in the Limpopo province of South Africa. It was established after the August 2016 local elections by merging the Mookgophong and Modimolle local municipalities. As of 2022, the total population is 130,113. Limpopo () is the northernmost Provinces of South Africa, province of South Africa. It is named after the Limpopo River, which forms the province's western and northern borders.
