Modern Day Zero is a hard rock band based in St. Louis, Missouri. Formerly called Mesh—changed to Mesh STL after the name-conflict with Mesh (band), Mesh—the band renamed and restarted as Modern Day Zero. Their single, "Sick Inside," from their first album, ''Coming Up for Air'', spent eight weeks as the most-requested song on St. Louis-area alternative rock radio station KPNT. Tantric is an American Rock music, rock band from Louisville, Kentucky. The group was founded in 1998 by Todd Whitener, Jesse Vest and Matt Taul after they left Days of the New, and joined forces with vocalist Hugo Ferreira. Tom Lord-Alge (born January 17, 1962) is an American music engineer and mixer. He began his career at Unique Recording in New York. Subsequently, he was the resident mixer at what used to be known as "South Beach Studios", located on the ground floor of the Marlin Hotel. Lord-Alge received two Grammy Awards for his work on Steve Winwood's '' Back in the High Life'' (1986), and '' Roll with It'' (1988), both winning in the 'Best Engineered Recording – Non-Classical' category. His third Grammy was for Santana's ''Supernatural'' (1999), which won Album of the Year. Pointfest
Pointfest is a large outdoor rock music festival held annually by radio station KPNT in St. Louis, Missouri, at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre (formerly known as Verizon Wireless Amphitheater, UMB Bank Pavilion, and Riverport Amphitheater). Local music favorites the Urge, Gravity Kills, Story of the Year, Ludo, and Greek Fire have made several appearances as well. Traditionally, there is a main stage where the larger acts and headliners perform, and two or more stages off to the sides of the lawn for other bands (one of them usually reserved for local bands). Wentzville is an exurb of St. Louis that is located in western St. Charles County, Missouri, United States. As of the 2023 U.S. Census Bureau estimates, the city had a total population of 47,497, making it the 15th largest city in Missouri. Collective Soul is an American rock band originally from Stockbridge, Georgia. Now based in Atlanta, the group consists of the brothers Ed (lead vocalist) and Dean Roland (rhythm guitarist), Will Turpin (bassist), Johnny Rabb (drummer), and Jesse Triplett (lead guitarist). Formed in 1992, the original lineup consisted of the Roland brothers, bassist David Neal, guitarist Ross Childress, and drummer Shane Evans.
