Miguel González (footballer, Born 1990)
Miguel González (born October 1, 1990) is a Mexican footballer who currently plays as a forward. Career College & Youth González began playing college soccer at Peninsula College in 2010, before moving to Seattle University in 2012. He was named WAC Offensive Player of the Year and First Team All-WAC in 2013. While at college in Seattle, González appeared once for USL PDL club Seattle Sounders U-23 in 2013. After college, González trialled with Seattle Sounders FC, before signing with PDL side Kitsap Pumas. Professional Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC González signed with USL club Colorado Springs Switchbacks on January 27, 2015. González ended his first season with the Switchbacks with 10 goals and 7 assists. Founded in 2014, the team is a member of the Western Conference in the USL Championship, the second tier of the American soccer pyramid. The 2018 OKC Energy FC season was OKC Energy FC, the club's fifth season of existence, and their fifth consecutive season in the USL Championship, United Soccer League, the second tier of American soccer. Energy FC also played in the U.S. Open Cup. The season covered the period from November 5, 2017, to the beginning of the 2019 USL season. The 2018 season was the first for OKC under new head coach Steve Cooke (football coach), Steve Cooke, who had previously been the interim head coach of Colorado Rapids. Cooke became just the second head coach in club history; Jimmy Nielsen had been in charge for the previous four seasons. Oklahoma City Energy Football Club, or simply Energy FC, is an American professional Association football, soccer club based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. FC Olympia, formerly Oly Town FC, is an American association football, soccer club from Olympia, Washington. The National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) is an American men's association football, soccer league. The league is officially affiliated to the United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA) and has automatic qualification for the U.S. Open Cup.
