Maïa Hirsch
Maïa Hirsch (born November 13, 2003) is a French basketball player for Villeneuve d'Ascq of the La Boulangère Wonderligue. She was drafted 12th overall by the Minnesota Lynx in the 2023 WNBA draft, in which three French players were selected. Early life Hirsch trained at Roannais Basket Féminin and joined the Federal Basket-Ball Center in 2018. She stayed there for a year before returning to play at the Roanne club which plays in NF1 and of which her father, Olivier Hirsch, is the coach. She remained with Roanne for two years. Professional career France Hirsch began her professional career in the 2021–22 season with Charnay in the LFB. She had a relatively successful individual season, averaging 7.4 points and 2.4 rebounds in 20 minutes, though her team finished last in the regular season and in the play-downs and was relegated to the LF2. Maïa Schwinghammer (born September 14, 2001) is a Canadian mogul skier. Early life Schwinghammer attended Holy Cross High School in Saskatoon. Career On January 31, 2025, Schwinghammer won her first moguls gold medal of the 2024–25 FIS Freestyle Ski World Cup. She finished the World Cup in third place with 456 points. Schwinghammer represented Canada at the 2025 FIS Freestyle Ski World Championships and won a bronze medal in the moguls event with 74.92 points. Maïa Vidal
Maïa Vidal (born February 20, 1988) is an American-born composer, songwriter, musician, and visual artist. Currently based in Europe (primarily Barcelona and Paris), she has toured in Europe, Canada, Japan, and the United States. Biography Vidal was born in Santa Barbara, California, moved at an early age to Brooklyn, New York, and then to Ithaca, New York where she began studying violin. She started her first band, an all-girl punk group, while a student at Ithaca High School. Her band, Kiev (later changed to Kievan Rus to avoid name conflicts with a California band of the same name), played in two Warped Tour events, and toured briefly with Bad Religion, Anti-Flag, and Gogol Bordello. Bad Religion's Greg Graffin took an early interest in the band, and produced their EP ''Kievan Rus.''
