Matthieu Lièvremont (born 6 November 1975 in Perpignan) Scrum.com is a French rugby union player, usually playing as a flanker but sometimes as well as number 8. He currently plays for US Dax. The younger brother of Marc Lièvremont, Marc and Thomas Lièvremont, both France national rugby union team, French international players, he received his first international cap on 28 June 2008 against Australia national rugby union team, Australia while Marc was France's head coach, which sparked some controversy. Perpignan (, , ; ; ) is the prefectures in France, prefecture of the Pyrénées-Orientales departments of France, department in Southern France, in the heart of the plain of Roussillon, at the foot of the Pyrenees a few kilometres from the Mediterranean Sea and the scrublands of the Corbières Massif, Corbières massif.
