Mathias Müller
Mathias Müller (born 3 April 1992) is a German field hockey player who plays as a defender for Bundesliga side Hamburger Polo Club and the Germany national team. Club career Müller started playing hockey at the age of four at UHC Hamburg. He made his debut for the senior team when he was 18 years old. He then played for Rot-Weiss Köln from 2013 until 2018. In 2018 he returned to Hamburg to play for Hamburger Polo Club. International career Müller made his debut for the German national team in 2014. He represented his country at the 2016 Summer Olympics, where he won the bronze medal. On 6 December he was named in the squad for the 2023 Men's FIH Hockey World Cup. He played in all seven matches as Germany won the tournament. 2014 Men's Hockey Champions Trophy
The 2014 Men's Hockey Champions Trophy was the 35th edition of the Hockey Champions Trophy men's field hockey tournament. It was held between in Bhubaneswar, India. From this year on the tournament began to be held biennially due to the introduction of the Hockey World League, returning to its original format changed in 1980. Germany won the tournament for the tenth time after defeating Pakistan 2–0 in the final. Australia won the third place match by defeating India 2–1. Men's EuroHockey Indoor Club Cup
The Men's EuroHockey Indoor Club Cup is an annual indoor hockey club competition organised by the EHF. It is the premier club tournament of Europe for indoor hockey and contested by the champions of the eight strongest EHF national associations. German clubs have the highest number of victories (27 wins), followed by Poland (2 wins), a club from Spain, Russia, Belgium, Switzerland and Sweden have also won the tournament. The tournament has been won by 16 clubs, 6 of which have won it more than once, and three successfully defended their title. The 2016–17 Euro Hockey League was the tenth season of the Euro Hockey League, Europe's premier club field hockey tournament organized by the EHF. Round One was held in Banbridge, Northern Ireland. the round of 16 and quarterfinals in Eindhoven, Netherlands and the semi-finals, third place game and the final were held in Brasschaat, Belgium. The 2011–12 Euro Hockey League was the fifth season of the Euro Hockey League, Europe's premier club field hockey tournament organized by the European Hockey Federation, EHF. It was held at four different locations from October 2011 to May 2012. Men's Euro Hockey League
The Euro Hockey League is an annual field hockey cup competition organized by the EHF for the very top field hockey clubs in Europe. The competition was launched at the start of the 2007-08 field hockey season when it merged and replaced the men's EuroHockey Club Champions Cup (the champions competition) and the EuroHockey Cup Winners Cup (the Cup Winners' competition). The German Hockey Federation ( or DHB) is the national governing body for field (and indoor) hockey in Germany. It was founded in 1909 in Bonn. Men's Feldhockey Bundesliga
The Feldhockey Bundesliga is the top level of men's field hockey in Germany and is managed by the German Hockey Federation. The league currently ranks first in the men's European league rankings. It was established in 1937. Format The season starts in August or September and is interrupted by the indoor hockey season from November to March. From April the outdoor season will be continued. Since the 2011–12 season the league was played by twelve teams who played each other twice and who competed for four spots in the championship play-offs. The 2012 Men's EuroHockey Junior Championship was the 16th edition of the men's EuroHockey Junior Championship, the biennial international men's under-21 field hockey championship of Europe organised by the European Hockey Federation. It was held alongside the women's tournament in 's-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands from 20 August to 1 September 2012. This tournament served as the European qualifier for the 2013 FIH Junior World Cup, with the top six teams qualifying.
