"Master Jack" is a song written by David Marks and first recorded by Four Jacks and a Jill. It reached #1 in South Africa and Canada (2 weeks at #1), #3 on the US adult contemporary chart, and #18 on both the ''Billboard'' chart and in Australia in 1968. The song was also released in the United Kingdom as a single, but it did not chart. It also featured on the group's 1968 album of the same name. Four Jacks and a Jill is a South African folk rock ensemble. Career They originally formed in 1964 without a "Jill" under the name "The Nevadas". Subsequently, they became the first group in South Africa to wear their hair long and they changed their name to "The Zombies" (different from the The Zombies, well-known British group). Later they added lead singer Glenys Lynne and changed the group's name to "Four Jacks and A Jill". The group included Clive Harding (bass guitar), Keith Andrews (rhythm guitar and organ), replaced by the late Mark Poulos (guitar and organ) during 1966–1967 and subsequently Till Hanneman who joined in 1967 (rhythm guitar, organ and trumpet), Bruce Bark (lead guitar, harmonica and saxophone), Tony Hughes (drums) and Glenys Lynne (lead vocal and organ). Trinidad López III (May 15, 1937 – August 11, 2020), known as Trini Lopez, was an American singer and guitarist. His first album included a cover version of Pete Seeger's " If I Had a Hammer", which earned a gold disc for him. His other hits included " Lemon Tree", "I'm Comin' Home, Cindy" and "Sally Was a Good Old Girl". He designed two guitars for the Gibson Guitar Corporation, which are now collectors' items. 4 (four) is a number, numeral and digit. It is the natural number following 3 and preceding 5. It is a square number, the smallest semiprime and composite number, and is considered unlucky in many East Asian cultures. Ayshea (; born Ayshea Hague, 12 November 1948) is a British singer, actress and television presenter. Biography Born in Highgate, London, and educated at Arts Educational School, London, Ayshea was trained in ballet, music, drama and dance. Laura Lee (born Laura Lee Newton; 9 March 1945 in Chicago, Illinois) is an American soul music, soul and gospel music, gospel singing, singer and songwriter, most successful in the 1960s and 1970s and influential for her gramophone record, records which discussed and celebrated women's experience. "La bambola" (Italian for "The Doll") is an Italian pop song written by Franco Migliacci, Bruno Zambrini and Ruggero Cini, and performed by Patty Pravo. The song had been previously refused by several artists, including Gianni Morandi, Little Tony, Gigliola Cinquetti, Caterina Caselli and The Rokes. The single peaked at number one on the Italian chart for nine consecutive weeks between May and June 1968 and was certified gold. Heidi Rosemarie Brühl (; 30 January 1942 – 8 June 1991) was a German singer and actress who came to prominence as a young teenager and had a prolific career in film and television.
