María Acosta
María Acosta (born 26 November 1991) is a Venezuelan freestyle wrestler. Acosta competed in the Wrestling at the 2016 Summer Olympics – Women's freestyle 69 kg, women's freestyle 69kg event at the 2016 Summer Olympics, in which she was eliminated in the round of 16 by Enas Mostafa. She won the silver medal in the Wrestling at the 2015 Pan American Games – Women's freestyle 69 kg, women's freestyle 69kg event at the 2015 Pan American Games. Acosta won one of the bronze medals in her event at the 2022 Pan American Wrestling Championships held in Acapulco, Mexico. The women's freestyle 76 kg is a competition featured at the 2023 World Wrestling Championships, and was held in Belgrade, Serbia on 19 and 20 September 2023.
