Liberec
Liberec (; ) is a city in the Czech Republic. It has about 108,000 inhabitants, making it the fifth largest city in the country. It lies on the Lusatian Neisse River, in a basin surrounded by mountains. DHC Slavia Prague the Czech women's handball section of Czech omnisport club SK Slavia Prague. It was established in 1919. They are currently competing in the MOL Liga and the Czech Women's Handball League. The team won four Czechoslovak championships between 1926 and 1935. Kristianstad Handbollsklubb is a Swedish women's handball club from Kristianstad. The club was founded on 15 June 2005, when IFK Ungdom parted ways with IFK Kristianstad. Handball (also known as team handball, European handball, Olympic handball or indoor handball) is a team sport in which two teams of seven players each (six outcourt players and a goalkeeper) pass a ball using their hands with the aim of throwing it into the goal of the opposing team. A standard match consists of two periods of 30 minutes, and the team that scores more goals wins. Modern handball is played on a court of , with a goal in the middle of each end. The goals are surrounded by a zone where only the defending goalkeeper is allowed; goals must be scored by throwing the ball from outside the zone or while "diving" into it.
