Marlène Boissonnault
Marlène Boissonnault (born June 19, 1997) is a Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender signed as a reserve for the Minnesota Frost in the Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL). She was previously signed by the Montreal Victoire. Playing career Boissonnault started playing hockey at a young age, moving up the minor hockey system. She would then play for Rothesay Netherwood School in Rothesay and later took the chance to play for Cornell University. Across four years of NCAA Division I women's ice hockey with the Cornell Big Red of ECAC Hockey, Boissonnault finished with 56 wins, the second highest total in the university's history, and 15 shutouts, the third most in Cornell history. The Montreal Victoire () are a professional ice hockey team based in the Greater Montreal area that competes in the Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL). They are one of the six charter franchises of the league. The team plays its home games at Place Bell in Laval, Quebec. ECAC Hockey
ECAC Hockey is one of the six conferences that compete in NCAA Division I college ice hockey, ice hockey. The conference used to be affiliated with the Eastern College Athletic Conference, a consortium of over 300 colleges in the eastern United States. 2015 IIHF World Women's U18 Championship
The 2015 IIHF U18 Women's World Championship was the eighth IIHF U18 Women's World Championship. The top division tournament was played in Buffalo, United States, from 5 to 12 January 2015. Twenty nations played in three levels, with promotion and relegation for the top and bottom teams at each level. The United States won their fourth title defeating Canada in overtime in the gold medal game, with Jincy Roese scoring on the power play. This was the eighth consecutive final between the two nations, evening their all-time records. The bronze medal game was also a rematch from the previous year, this time the Russians defeated the Czechs earning their first ever medal at this level. Lucy Morgan (ice Hockey)
Lucy Morgan (born August 18, 2001) is an American professional ice hockey goaltender for the Ottawa Charge of the Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL). She played college ice hockey at St. Lawrence University and the University of Minnesota. Playing career Youth As a youth player, Morgan was part of a massive upset in North Dakota state tournament hockey. Her second year on the team the Mandan Braves, they beat a dominant 15-3-0 Fargo North-South team, who had already begun to plan their post-game celebrations. Morgan stopped 49 of 50 shots and helped Mandan win 2-1 in overtime. She then played for Maple Grove in Minnesota where she posted a .943 save percentage. The 2024–25 PWHL season was the second season of operation of the Professional Women's Hockey League. Six teams competed during the season, located in Lowell, Saint Paul, Laval, Newark, Ottawa, and Toronto. The 2023–24 PWHL season was the first season of operation of the Professional Women's Hockey League, and began play on January 1, 2024. Six teams competed during the inaugural season, located in PWHL Montreal, Montreal, PWHL Toronto, Toronto, PWHL New York, New York/Bridgeport, PWHL Boston, Boston, PWHL Ottawa, Ottawa, and PWHL Minnesota, Saint Paul. The Premier Hockey Federation (PHF) was a women's professional ice hockey league in the United States and Canada that operated from March 2015 until June 2023. The league was established in 2015 as the National Women's Hockey League (NWHL), comprising four league-owned teams.
