Mariano Fernández Gnazzo (born 27 January 1988) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a right back. Career Fernández started his career with Rivadavia, appearing twelve times for the club during 2010. 2011 saw the defender sign for Primera B Metropolitana side Villa San Carlos, remaining until the conclusion of the 2011–12 campaign whilst scoring once, versus Tristán Suárez on 31 January 2012, in fifty-one fixtures. On 30 June 2012, Fernández joined Defensa y Justicia of Primera B Nacional. Seven appearances followed over two seasons with them, prior to Fernández rejoining Villa San Carlos in July 2014. He scored goals in games against UAI Urquiza and Deportivo Armenio over fifty-three matches back with Villa San Carlos. 2016 saw Fernández sign for Guaraní Antonio Franco, which preceded a move to Agropecuario. The Torneo Federal A () is one of the two professional leagues that form the regionalised third level of the Argentine football league system, along with Primera B Metropolitana. The competition was established in 2014 as a result of a change in the structure of the league system, replacing Torneo Argentino A. Federal A is organised by "Consejo Federal", a division of the Argentine Football Association. Clubs in Federal A have indirect membership in AFA unlike clubs in Primera B, which have direct membership. All teams with indirect membership are from outside the city of Buenos Aires (playing in regional leagues) and its metropolitan area (Greater Buenos Aires), while most of the direct members are from the aforementioned area. The tournament is reserved for teams indirectly affiliated to the Asociación del Fútbol Argentino (AFA), while teams affiliated to AFA have to play the Primera B Metropolitana, which is the other third tier competition. The 2015 Argentine Primera B Nacional season was the 30th season of Argentine second division, with a total of 22 competing teams. It began 14 February and ended 14 November 2015. Although there was some use of a different name earlier in the year, the AFA has consistently used the Primera B Nacional moniker in releases of late. Competition format The league's format has changed from last season. This year there will be twenty-two teams which will play each other twice for a total of forty-two matches. In November 2014, the AFA announced two teams from this season will be promoted to the Primera División. The 2013-14 season, is the 29º Primera B Metropolitana season since it became part of the third tier of the Argentine football league system. The tournament is reserved for teams directly affiliated to the Asociación del Fútbol Argentino (AFA), while teams affiliated to AFA through local leagues (known as "indirectly affiliated to AFA") have to play the Torneo Federal A, which is the other third tier competition. For this season, AFA decided to change the structure in the Argentine football league system, and exceptionally 3 teams will be promoted to the next season of Primera B Nacional and there will be no relegations for this season.
