Manuel Fernández (Argentine Footballer)
Manuel Fernández (born 31 October 1983) is an Argentine football manager and former player who played as a midfielder. Playing career Born in San Carlos de Bolívar, Buenos Aires Province, Fernández began his career with hometown side Empleados de Comercio before joining Deportivo Morón at the age of 17. Upon returning to his hometown, he made his senior debut with Empleados before moving to Sportivo Barracas. Fernández subsequently played for San Telmo and Deportivo Riestra before returning to Barracas in 2006. In the following year, he moved abroad with Spanish side FB Redován CF in the Primera Regional de la Comunidad Valenciana, but retired in 2008 at the age of just 25 after a knee injury. Managerial career After retiring, Fernández joined Fabio Radaelli's staff at Tigre's youth categories, and later worked for six months with Central Norte. Club Atlético Alvarado
Club Atlético Alvarado is an Argentine football club from the city of Mar del Plata, Buenos Aires Province. The team currently plays in the Primera B Nacional, the 2nd division of the Argentine football league system. The club has played at the highest level of Argentine football on only one occasion, more specifically in the 1978 Campeonato Nacional, which coincided with the 50th anniversary of its foundation. Alvarado participated in Group D of that tournament, finishing 7th of 8 teams. The team's most notable results that year were two 1–1 draws with Quilmes, the 1978 Metropolitano champion, a 4–4 draw with Atlanta and a great 5–0 victory over San Lorenzo.
