Lachlan Busiko
Lachlan Busiko (born 13 January 1998) is a field hockey player from Australia. Personal life Lachlan Busiko was born and raised in Naracoorte, South Australia. He is a current scholarship holder at the South Australian Institute of Sport (SASI). Career Junior national team In 2017, Busiko made his debut for the Australia U–21 side, the 'Burras', at the Sultan of Johor Cup. Busiko again appeared at the Sultan of Johor Cup in 2018, winning a bronze medal with the team. In 2019, Busiko was named to the national junior squad for the third time, as well as being named in the team for the 2019 Sultan of Johor Cup. Naracoorte, South Australia
Naracoorte is a town in the Limestone Coast region of South Australia, approximately 336 kilometres south-east of Adelaide and 100 kilometres north of Mount Gambier, South Australia, Mount Gambier on the Riddoch Highway (A66). History Before the colonisation of South Australia in 1836, the land now occupied by the town of Naracoorte was situated on the border of lands occuped by the Bindjali people to the east and Ngarrindjeri to the east. Naracoorte was formed from the merger of two towns, Kincraig, founded in 1845 by Scottish explorer William Macintosh, and Narracoorte, established as a government settlement in 1847. The name has gone through a number of spellings, and is believed to be derived from the Australian Aborigine, Aboriginal words for ''place of running water'' or ''large waterhole''. The Sultana Bran Hockey One is a field hockey competition organised by Hockey Australia, which replaced the Australian Hockey League. The competition serves as Australia's premier domestic hockey league, helping unearth future talent for selection to the Australian national teams; the Kookaburras and Hockeyroos. 2019 Men's Hockey One
The 2019 Men's Sultana Bran Hockey One was the inaugural men's edition of Hockey Australia's national league, ''Hockey One''. The tournament was held across 7 states and territories of Australia. The tournament started on 29 September and culminated on 16 November 2019. The grand final of the tournament was hosted by HC Melbourne, as the top ranked team to qualify for the final in the women's league. The 2019 Sultan of Johor Cup was the ninth edition of the Sultan of Johor Cup, an international men's under–21 field hockey tournament in Malaysia. It was held in Johor Bahru, Malaysia from 12 to 19 October 2019. As in previous editions, a total of six teams competed for the title.
