Léo Joseph Paul Westermann (born 24 July 1992) is a French professional basketball player for Baloncesto Fuenlabrada, Fuenlabrada of the Primera FEB. Standing at , he plays the point guard position. He also represents the senior France national basketball team, French national basketball team. Early years Westermann started his men's club career in 2008, playing for Centre Fédéral de Basketball, in the Nationale Masculine 1, the French basketball league system, third division of French basketball. He played for Centre Fed for two seasons, averaging 10.1 points, 2.6 assists, and 1.1 steals per game, in 48 games played. Primera FEB
The Primera FEB, formerly known as LEB or LEB Oro, is the second basketball division of the Spanish basketball league system after the Liga ACB. It is run by the Spanish Basketball Federation, FEB. The FEB leagues are divided into three categories (the other two are the Segunda FEB and the Tercera FEB). The league was founded in 1996 and is played under FIBA rules. The league is contested by 18 clubs. Each season, the top-finishing team in the Primera FEB are automatically promoted to the Liga ACB. The teams that finish the season in 2nd to 9th place enter a playoff tournament, with the winner also gaining promotion to the Liga ACB. 2020 Turkish Basketball Cup
The 2020 Turkish Basketball Cup () was the 35th edition of Turkey's top-tier level professional national domestic basketball cup competition. The quarter-finals of tournament was held from 11–12 February 2020 in 4 different locations and then semi-finals and the final were held from 14–16 February 2020 in the Ankara Arena in Ankara, Turkey. Qualified teams The top eight placed teams after the first half of the top-tier level Basketball Super League 2019–20 season qualified for the tournament. The Nike Hoop Summit is an international basketball all-star game sponsored by Nike, Inc., Nike, held once a year, which features the USA Basketball Men's Junior Select Team against a World Select Team of international players. The players demonstrate their skills and hope to attract attention from either National Basketball Association, NBA scouts or college basketball, colleges. FIBA Europe Under-20 Championship
The FIBA U20 EuroBasket is the new name for the FIBA U20 European Championship, originally known as the European Championship for Men '22 and Under'. It is a men's youth basketball competition that was inaugurated with the 1992 edition. Through the 2004 edition, it was held biennially, but since the 2005 edition, it is held every year. The tournament was originally an Under-22 age tournament, but it is now an Under-20 age tournament. The current champions are France. The 2012–13 ABA League was the 12th season of the ABA League, with 14 teams from Serbia, Slovenia, Montenegro, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Republic of Macedonia, Macedonia and Hungary participating in it. The ABA League, renamed the ABA League First Division in 2017, is the top-tier regional men's professional basketball league that originally featured clubs from former Yugoslavia (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia and Slovenia). Due to sponsorship reasons, the league was also known as the Goodyear League from 2001 to 2006, the NLB League from 2006 to 2011, and as the AdmiralBet ABA League from 2021. The 2017 Karaliaus Mindaugo taurė, also known as KIDY Tour – Karaliaus Mindaugo taurė for sponsorship purposes, was the second edition of the Lithuanian King Mindaugas Cup. On 18 February 2016 it was announced that Kaunas would host the tournament. Lietuvos rytas were the defending champion, but were eliminated in the quarter-finals by Juventus. Žalgiris won their first title, beating Lietkabelis 84–63 in the final. Juventus won bronze medals, defeating Vytautas. Žalgiris forward Edgaras Ulanovas was awarded as MVP of the tournament. Karaliaus Mindaugo taurė (English: King Mindaugas Cup) is an annual national domestic basketball cup competition between Lithuanian professional teams. It is organised by the Lithuanian Basketball League (Lietuvos krepšinio lyga – LKL). The tournament is named in honor of Mindaugas, the first and only King of Lithuania. The Final four event includes an annual LKL Three-point Shootout contest, LKL Future Cup was introduced in 2018 with Žalgiris and Rytas youth teams competing for the cup.
