Luis Morán (athlete)
Luis Morán Sánchez (born 26 July 1987) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays mainly as a right winger. Club career Born in Luanco, Asturias, and a product of local Sporting de Gijón's youth academy, Morán appeared once for its first team in 2006–07, with the club in the Segunda División. In his first two full professional seasons, he scored four goals in 28 matches apiece. In 2008–09, with Sporting now in La Liga, Morán netted an historical goal in the last round against Recreativo de Huelva (2–1 home win), which guaranteed top-flight status for a further year. He repeated the same exact numbers the following campaign, being utilised mostly as a right winger by manager Manuel Preciado as opposed to his attacking midfielder role in the reserves. The first matches of the season were played on 27 August 2006, and the season ended on 17 June 2007. The Cypriot First Division (), also known as the Cyprus League by Stoiximan for sponsorship reasons, is a professional association football league in Cyprus and the highest level of the Cypriot football league system. Operated by the Cyprus Football Association, the league is contested by fourteen teams and runs from August to May, with the three lowest-placed teams being relegated to the Cypriot Second Division, and replaced by the top three teams in that division. The 2010–11 La Liga (known as the ''Liga BBVA'' for sponsorship reasons) was the 80th season of La Liga since its establishment. The campaign began on 28 August 2010, and concluded on 21 May 2011. A total of 20 teams contested the league, 17 of which already partook in the 2009–10 season, and three of which were promoted from the Segunda División. In addition, a new match ball – the Nike Total 90 Tracer – served as the official ball for all matches. Defending champions Barcelona secured a third consecutive and overall 21st La Liga title following a 1–1 draw with Levante on 11 May 2011. Manuel Preciado
Manuel "Manolo" Preciado Rebolledo (28 August 1957 – 6 June 2012) was a Spanish football defender and manager. His 15-year career was mainly associated with Racing de Santander, and he also represented five other teams, mostly in the lower leagues. As a manager, he also coached with his main club but worked mostly with Sporting de Gijón, promoting to La Liga in 2008. Preciado died in June 2012 at the age of 54, from a heart attack. Playing career Born in El Astillero, Cantabria, Preciado appeared in 59 La Liga matches for local Racing de Santander, split between three of his five-year spell with the club. His best-ever in the top flight was 32 games in the 1978–79 season, which ended in relegation.
