''Lo Mejor'' is a compilation album by Chilean singer Myriam Hernández, released in 1997 through Warner Music Chile. Background ''Lo Mejor'' is Hernandez' only compilation album released during her time under WEA Latina. It is also her last record release under this label. The album was released in both cassette and CD formats. The album compiles songs from Hernandez's two studio albums released under Warner. Myriam Raquel Hernández Navarro (born 2 May 1965) is a Chilean singer, songwriter and television presenter. She has dabbled mainly in romantic ballad, which is why she is sometimes nicknamed "La baladista de América" ("America's balladeer"), although she has also fused her style with other genres such as electronics or hip-hop. ''IV'' (''Cuatro''), or ''Myriam Hernández IV'', is the fourth studio album by Chilean singer Myriam Hernández. It was released on December 13, 1994, through Warner Elektra Atlantic (WEA) Latina. Background While pregnant with her first child, Hernández returned to Los Angeles to record her fourth studio album, and second under her contract with Warner. The album was produced by Humberto Gatica and, for the first time, Hernandez herself served as co-producer. Additionally, for the first time in Hernandez' career she collaborated with non-Latino composers on one of her albums, as renowned musicians in the pop ballad scene at the time were enlisted to work with her, most remarkably David Foster and Albert Hammond. Paul Albert Anka (born July 30, 1941) is a Canadian and American singer, songwriter and actor. Anka's version was recorded in August 1958 at Bell Sound Studios in New York City, twenty days before he recorded his no. 1 hit " Lonely Boy", and was released as a single on August 17, 1959, by ABC-Paramount as catalog number 4510040.
