Lo Justo Por El Perú
Lo Justo por el Perú (also known simply as Lo Justo, ) was a brief radical centrist political party in Peru. In order to participate of the 2026 general election, it was annexed by First The People – Community, Ecology, Liberty, and Progress on 18 June 2024 as the party’s apparatus desisted of registering at the National Jury of Elections based on the limited time to complete the process before the deadline on 12 July 2024. The main party initiators were former ministers Marisol Pérez Tello and Flor Pablo. History The Lo Justo party emerged in early 2024 as a faction of the Purple Party opposed to party president Luis Durán, who reorganized the party to the detriment of the party's communications wing that had supported Julio Guzmán's presidential campaign in the 2021 presidential election. Marisol Pérez Tello
María Soledad Pérez Tello de Rodríguez (born April 11, 1969) is a Peruvian lawyer, notary and politician. A former member of the Christian People's Party, she served as its general secretary from 2017 until her departure in 2022. She currently leads Lo Justo por el Perú, a self-described radical centrist party alongside Flor Pablo, annexed to First The People – Community, Ecology, Liberty, and Progress. Born in the southern region of Tacna, Pérez Tello pursued a law degree at the University of San Martín de Porres, graduating with honors. Subsequently, she started off in her career as public notary, specializing in Human Rights defense. She later attained a master's degree in constitutional law at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, and a doctorate in law from her first school. 2022 Lima Municipal Election
The 2022 Lima municipal election were held on 2 October 2022, following the convening of regional and municipal elections throughout Peru. Lima residents voted on a list of 40 candidates to replace incumbent Miguel Romero Sotelo whose term ended on 31 December 2022, alongside 39 metropolitan councilpeople. Miguel Del Castillo (politician)
Miguel Ángel del Castillo Reyes (born 27 February 1976) is a Peruvian administrator and politician. The eldest son of former Prime Minister of Peru Jorge del Castillo, he was a member of the Peruvian Aprista Party until his defection in 2021 following his association to president Pedro Castillo’s campaign and subsequent administration as presidential advisor. Professionally, he manages the Peruvian broadcasting network ''Nativa'', from which he has been accused of fraud for not remunerating his staff. People's Liberty () or Popular Liberty, is a liberal political party in Peru. The party is led by Rafael Belaúnde Llosa, former minister of Energy and Mines briefly in 2020. Gino Francisco Costa Santolalla (born 27 January 1956) is a Peruvian politician who is an Independent Congressman caucusing with the Purple Party, representing the constituency of Lima. Alberto De Belaúnde
Alberto de Belaúnde de Cárdenas (born 20 March 1986) is a Peruvian lawyer, LGBT activist, and politician. An independent progressive caucusing with the Purple Party, he currently serves in the Peruvian Congress' complementary term 2020–2021. He previously served in the 2016–2019 term, elected under Peruvians for Change, and subsequently joining the progressive Liberal Bench.
