This is a list of Administrative divisions of the People's Republic of China#Township level, township-level divisions of the municipality of Shanghai, People's Republic of China (PRC). After Province-level divisions of the People's Republic of China, province, Administrative divisions of the People's Republic of China#Prefecture level, prefecture, and County-level division, county-level divisions, township-level divisions constitute the formal fourth-level administrative divisions of the PRC. However, as Shanghai is a Direct-controlled municipality of China, province-level municipality, the prefecture-level divisions are absent and so county-level divisions are at the second level, and township-level divisions are at the third level of administration. Jiangsu Road Subdistrict () is a subdistrict in Changning District, Shanghai, China. It is one of the busiest subdistricts in Changning District and consists of the main governmental headquarters of Changning District. Hongkou District
Hongkou (; formerly spelled Hongkew) is a district of Shanghai, forming part of the northern urban core. It has a land area of and a population of 757,498 as of 2020. The district borders Yangpu to the east, Pudong to the southeast, Huangpu to the southwest, Jing'an to the west and Baoshan to the north. It is the location of the Astor House Hotel, Broadway Mansions, Lu Xun Park, and Hongkou Football Stadium. It was once known as Shanghai's "Little Tokyo." Nanqiao, Shanghai
Nanqiao () is a town in Fengxian District, Shanghai. In the courtyard of Cao's family in Nanqiao, there is a plum that was planted in the Tongzhi period. Fengxian District, is a suburban district in the south of Shanghai with a land area of , a registered population (as of 2020) of 1,140,872, and 1.5 to 2 times more migrants. It is known for its relative rusticity, as well as its beaches and ocean resorts along the Hangzhou Bay. Bihai Jinsha () is a common place for Shanghainese to spend their weekend. Hengsha Township
Hengsha (横沙岛, Shanghainese: ''Waan So Tau'') is a low-lying alluvial island at the mouth of the Yangtze River in eastern China. Together with the islands of Chongming and Changxing, it forms Chongming District, the northernmost area of the provincial-level municipality of Shanghai. Its population was 33,400 in 2008. Shanghainese
The Shanghainese language, also known as the Shanghai dialect, or Hu language, is a variety of Wu Chinese spoken in the central districts of the city of Shanghai and its surrounding areas. It is classified as part of the Sino-Tibetan language family. Shanghainese, like the rest of the Wu language group, is mutually unintelligible with other varieties of Chinese, such as Mandarin. Shanghainese belongs to a separate group of the Taihu Wu subgroup. With nearly 14 million speakers, Shanghainese is also the largest single form of Wu Chinese. Chongming District
Chongming District () is the northernmost district of the provincial-level municipality of Shanghai. Chongming consists of three low-lying inhabited alluvial islands at the mouth of the Yangtze north of the Shanghai peninsula: Chongming, Changxing, and Hengsha. Following its massive expansion in the 20th century, Chongming is now the 2nd-largest island administered by the People's Republic of China and the 3rd-largest in Greater China, after Hainan.
