Leif Linde
Leif Linde (born 1955) is a Swedish politician who was the secretary general of the Swedish Social Democratic Party between 1994 and 1996. He has been board chairman of the Swedish Co-operative Union since April 2020. Biography Linde was born in Nyköping in 1955. He was the union secretary in the Workers' Educational Association from 1988 to 1994. The Swedish Social Democratic Party, formally the Swedish Social Democratic Workers' Party ( sv, Sveriges socialdemokratiska arbetareparti ; S/SAP), usually referred to as The Social Democrats ( sv, link=no, Socialdemokraterna ), is a social-democratic political party in Sweden. KF ( sv, Kooperativa Förbundet, "Co-operative Union") is a federation of consumer co-operatives in Sweden and a retail group, with groceries as its core business. History KF was founded in 1899 by 41 local consumer co-operatives in order to support them with information and education of store managers and board members. Soon KF also became responsible for common procurement of goods. In the 1930s KF expanded rapidly during the management of Albin Johansson, setting up various industries in order to support the co-operative grocery stores. 1950-1970 KF was at the forefront of the Swedish retail trade by developing new and bigger store formats and it was one of the major business groups in Scandinavia. Nyköping
Nyköping () is a locality and the seat of Nyköping Municipality, Södermanland County, Sweden with 32,759 inhabitants as of 2017. The city is also the capital of Södermanland County. Including Arnö, the locality on the southern shore of the bay just a couple of kilometres from the city centre, Nyköping would have above 36,000 inhabitants. Commonly, Arnö is referred to as a part of the city proper. It forms a wider conurbation with the neighbouring minor municipality and town of Oxelösund south of its outskirts. Arbetarnas bildningsförbund (ABF) (the Workers' Educational Association) is the educational section of the Swedish labour movement. ABF conducts seminars, classes and study circles on a variety of subjects, including workshops, languages and music. Mona Ingeborg Sahlin ( born 9 March 1957) is a Swedish politician who was leader of the opposition and leader of the Swedish Social Democratic Party from 2007 to 2011. Sahlin was a Member of Parliament, representing Stockholm County, from 1982 to 1996 and again from 2002 to 2011. She has also held ministerial posts in the Swedish government from 1990 to 1991, from 1994 to 1995 and from 1998 to 2006. Sahlin was elected as leader of the Social Democratic Party on 17 March 2007, succeeding Göran Persson who resigned as leader following the defeat in the 2006 general election. Ingela Anita Thalén (born 1 October 1943) is a Swedish politician for the Swedish Social Democratic Party and a former minister. She was a member of the Swedish government 1987–1991 and 1994–2002. Thalén is the daughter of laundry worker Erland Ericsson and tailor Sara Ström. She was a member of the city council and chairman (mayor) of the municipality board of Järfälla municipality between 1983 and 1987. After that, she was appointed by Prime Minister Ingvar Carlsson as new Minister for Employment, a ministerial post she had between 1987 and 1990. Its director general is also designated Consumer ombudsman (''Konsumentombudsmannen, KO''). Riksbyggen (motto: Rum för hela livet) is a Swedish housing company owned by the building unions, housing association and by other national co-operative associations.
