Kinrara BK5 LRT Station
Kinrara BK5 LRT station is a Light Rapid Transit station in Bandar Kinrara, Puchong, Petaling District, Selangor, Malaysia. It was the southern terminus for passenger services on the LRT Extension Project Phase 1. It is operated under Sri Petaling Line network as found in the station signage. Like most other LRT stations operating in Klang Valley, this station is elevated. The work of LRT Extension Project (LEP) that was kicked off in the middle of 2013 started from and passes through Kinrara, Puchong, and ended at Putra Heights. The extension is 17.7 km long with 11 new stations and was completed in stages. The first stage of 4 stations was completed in September 2015 and commenced operations on 31 October 2015. Light Rapid Transit
A medium-capacity system (MCS), also known as light rapid transit or light metro, is a rail transport system with a capacity greater than light rail, but less than typical heavy-rail rapid transit. MCS’s trains are usually 1-4 cars, or 1 light rail vehicle (LRV). Most medium-capacity rail systems are automated or use light rail type vehicles. Light rail is considered high capacity as trains use 2-4 LRVs. The Bukit Jalil Highway, or Puchong–Sungai Besi Highway, Federal Route 217, is a major highway in Klang Valley, Malaysia. It is a toll-free and also a second highway after Shah Alam Expressway E5. Rapid Rail Sdn Bhd is the operator of the rapid transit (metro) system serving Kuala Lumpur and the Klang Valley area in Malaysia. Petaling District
The Petaling District is a district located in the heart of Selangor in Malaysia. Petaling is not to be confused with the city of Petaling Jaya located in it, nor the ''mukim'' of Petaling under Petaling Jaya City. The district office is located in Subang. Sri Petaling Line
The LRT Ampang Line and the LRT Sri Petaling Line are medium-capacity light rapid transit (LRT) lines in the Klang Valley, Malaysia. The combined network comprises 45.1 kilometres of tracks (28.0 miles) with 36 stations and was the first railway in Malaysia to use standard-gauge track and semi-automated trains.
