Kåre Harila
Kåre Harila (born 25 November 1935) is a Norwegian politician for the Christian Democratic Party. During the cabinet Syse, Harila was appointed State Secretary in the Ministry of Transport and Communications. He later served as a deputy representative to the Norwegian Parliament from Finnmark during the term 1997–2001. On the local level he had been a member of Finnmark county council from 1979 to 1983 and 1987 to 1991. Christian Democratic Party (Norway)
The Christian Democratic Party (, , , KrF; ) is a Christian-democratic political party in Norway founded in 1933. The party is an observer member of the European People's Party (EPP). It currently holds three seats in the Parliament, having won 3.8% of the vote in the 2021 parliamentary election. The current leader of the party is Dag Inge Ulstein. The Christian Democrats' leader from 1983 to 1995, Kjell Magne Bondevik, was one of the most prominent political figures in modern Norway, serving as Prime Minister from 1997 to 2000 and 2001 to 2005. Under the old leadership of Bondevik and Valgerd Svarstad Haugland, the party to some extent moved in a more liberal direction. Finnmark County Municipality (, , ) is the regional governing administration of Finnmark county in northern Norway. It was temporarily dissolved from 2020-2023 when Finnmark county was merged into Troms og Finnmark county, but that was undone effective 1 January 2024.
